HOT SPRINGS — Student delegation applications for students desiring to be part of the 2014 Sister City student delegation traveling to Hanamaki, Japan in July 2014 are due on January 15. Garland County students currently in grade 8-11 are eligible to apply for the week-long educational study trip, which is sponsored by the Hot Springs National Park Sister City Foundation. Up to 10 students will be chosen to travel to Hanamaki as representatives of Hot Springs, and will be expected to participate in Sister City Program activities throughout the year following their return.
Applications are available from the Sister City Program page of the City of Hot Springs Web site at http://www.cityhs.net/236/Sister-City-Program . Only complete applications will be considered. Limited scholarships are available.
