A Hot Springs woman was arrested for the theft of a Seadoo Jetski.
Casondra Stauffenecker, 23, of 510 Stover in Hot Springs was charged with 2 counts of Theft By Receiving.
That’s according to the Hot Springs police.
According to the report, Officer Plyler located a truck at 510 Stover that matched the description fiving as having stolen camper on video on September 18. While on the scene, a white female, later identified as Casondra Stauffenecker, approached Officer Plyler, Detectives Stracener and Jessup. She advised she was the responsible party for the properties at 510 Stover.
Detective Stracener advised Ms. Stauffenecker the truck was suspected in a theft. She advised it was her truck, but she had not driven it lately. Ms. Stauffenecker signed a standard HSPD consent to search form for the three stall, detached garage at 510 Stover. In the far left bay, detectives located a stolen 2002 Seadoo Jetski (valued at $2,260).
Mrs. Stauffnecker said Patrick Everage had parked the jetski and trailor in the garage. She further advised detectives that she saw Everage pull up to the garage a few days earlier driving her truck with a camper on the back of it. She told Everage to park the camper there because it was stolen.
