Collision Injures One
A two car accident occurred Saturday morning around 10:40am at the intersection of Airport Road and McArthur Drive involving a Plymouth Mini-van and a Lincoln Town Car.
The driver of the mini van was taken to a local hospital by Lifenet with non life threatening injuries.
According to a witness the Lincoln was stopped at McArthur Drive when she pulled onto Airport Road and struck the passenger front side of the mini van which was headed east on Airport.
Traffic had to rerouted through area parking lots to bypass the wreck and caused delays going into town for over 30 minutes.
70 West Fire Department responded to this call and Garland County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Arkansas State Police worked the accident. This accident happened only an hour after a fatal accident occurred involving a motorcycle just a few miles out on Airport Road Saturday morning.
