Car Ends Up In Creek On 7 South Friday, Driver Transported To Hospital By LifeNet (VIDEO)

A single car accident ended with a car in a creek south of Hot Springs on Highway 7 Friday afternoon shortly after 1:30. A small Chevrolet car was headed north on Highway 7 just inside the Garland County line when the driver lost control and traveled across the highway down into the rock bed by the waterfall at Mill Pond Village.  The car overturned along the way but landed right side up. Rain was falling at the time of the accident.
The male driver, age unknown, was transported to a local hospital by Lifenet. The man received some lacerations but his injuries were not thought to be life threatening. A small amount of vehicle fluids entered the water but was not serious enough to cause any problems. Lake Hamilton Fire Department assisted with this call and Arkansas State Police worked the wreck.
